Trading Terms
Ordering From Giovanna Couture:

Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout” You will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order. Orders can only be sent to the billing address of the cardholder placing an order.


Delivery schedule:

We try to process all stock orders, where possible, within 24 hours. Whilst most items will be despatched within one working day, please allow 3-5 days for delivery within the UK. 5-7 days for Europe and 7-14 days Rest of World. Where SURFACE mail is selected the delivery time will be much longer 2-5 weeks for Europe 6-12 weeks Rest of World.

For special order dresses, we will post an order confirmation along with any colour swatches that relate to your order, your goods will be delivered to you within the time frame stated on the product page.

Payment:

We accept payment by Cash, Cheques (sent by registered mail) We also accept PayPal, safe online payments that allow you to pay with your credit or debit card. Buyers from outside the UK please note: WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES OR MONEY ORDERS IN ANY OTHER CURRENCY OTHER THAN GB POUNDS STERLING £’s

Packaging:

At Giovanna Couture, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality, new materials for packaging and take great care to insure that happens. We too buy online and can assure you NO ONE takes better care of your purchases. In the unlikely event that an item should arrive damaged due to our negligence. Simply email us for a returns note and we will issue one for the goods to be returned, we will issue and exchange subject to stock, or a full reund if stock is not available.

Deliveries to UK mainland (inc. Northern Ireland)

For UK mainland deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging and handling. The postage cost on our "Delivery charges" page.

Items mailed within the UK will normally be sent next day courier service or royal mail signed for or special delivery and all items are fully insured. If a buyer requires enhanced insurance, Special Delivery or an expedited service please email us for a quote BEFORE placing your order. Giovanna Couture reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate.

Overseas & non-mainland UK:

For overseas and non-mainland UK deliveries, postage will be charged at cost PLUS a small fee for packaging and handling. The postage costs for international delivery of our items is subject to the delivery location.

Please email us if you require delivery outside of the U.K stating the item required (including the size) so we can weigh the item then contact you with an accurate delivery charge.  All international deliveries are sent royal mail international sigend for or by appropriate courier.

Exchanges:

We understand that sometimes buyers can select the wrong size, or can't get to visit us in order to help them select the right item and you may just simply need to exchange to a more appropriate size for themselves. 

If you need to exchange your purchase, please return your item to us within 7 days. We will make a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging and have not been used for purpose. We will credit the funds back to your account, so you can then go back online and select your order requirements.

Returns:

If you are not happy with your purchase, please return your item to us within 7 days. We will make a refund, provided the goods are returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging and have not been used for purpose. Please note returns can take up to 30 days to action.

Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return. We do not refund postage costs unless an item arrives damaged due to our negligence. Items lost or damaged in the post that have been packed correctly are usually insured, we will fill out any necessary claims forms at the post office on your behalf and liaise with the correct Postal service to achieve a satisfactory outcome on your behalf. In the event that this becomes necessary please be aware a refund will be made as soon as we have clearance from the Royal mail/Parcel force, this can take several weeks but we will endeavour to keep you informed of all developments as appropriate.

Special order items are exempt from refund or exchange as all items have been made specifically to meet customer order.

Cancellations:

For special order dresses you have 7 days from the date of order to cancel your contract, after which time your goods will be put into production, any cancellation after the 7th day of order will result in a cancellation charge that is subject to the status of your order.  At the point where goods are already partially manufactured cancellation is not possible.
