Can I visit your shop? Yes - We would love to meet you and help you have the experience of purchasing your dream dress. We have 2 bridal shops, one in Newark Nottinghamshire and our new bridal shop is in Lincoln city centre. Browsing is most welcome and if we are able to accommodate trying on wedding or bridesmaid dresses at the time of your visit we will always do so, however saturdays do get very busy, so its always best to book an appointment if you do wish to try on our wedding dresses so we can ensure that you get a more personal service. I require a petite size wedding dress can you help? Yes - We stock wedding and bridesmaid dresses from a size 6, however we can make as small as a U.K size 0. We also offer a custom size wedding dress service through our bridal shops at no extra charge. This means that we measure your bust, waist and hips and make your wedding dress to your exact measurements, rather than you purchasing an "off the peg sized dress", this usually removes the need for unnecessary alterations. Hemming of your dress may still be required with a custom make dress, but your dress is made just for you so if you are petite we can certainly assist you. Do I have to pay additional for extra length or fuller figure sizing? No - its all part of our service ! Our fuller figure wedding dresses that we hold in stock now are listed on our sister site bridalwearplus.co.uk, so please do check out this site, you'll be amazed at the choice and stock levels. We hold sample dresses in sizes 6-30 in store for trying on. For extra length we would custom make your wedding dress to a longer length, and we DO NOT charge extra for this service. I would like a coloured wedding dress, what choice do I have? You'll be pleased to know that our dresses are not limited to white or ivory. Infact many of our dresses can be made in any of the 72 colours that we offer in our collection. So if your heart desires a red, black, pink or even a purple wedding dress then you are looking in the right place. Give us a call with a selected style that you like from our collection and we will confirm if your chosen style can be made in your chosen colour, most of the time the answer is "yes it can". What size should I order? If you wish to purchase a wedding or bridesmaid dress from stock, please take your chest, waist and hip measurements and give one of our shops a call, there is always a member of staff on hand to help and guide you to ensure that you get the best possible fit from your chosen item. Can you get an item to me quickly? Yes - Our stock is all held at our warehouse in the U.K so we despatch by courier, we ask that you allow up to 7 working days for delivery, but quite often your parcel will arrive in 1-3 working days (slightly longer for international buyers). If you need next day delivery please call for urgent assistance. How do I check what is in stock? Most items that we hold in stock at our warehouse is listed on the site, all bridesmaid dresses and fuller figure wedding dress stock is listed on bridalwearplus.co.uk. To help you further, please ring one of our bridal shops (Lincoln is open 7 days a week) we can very quickly check stock and help you with a telephone order. What is the delivery time if an item is not in stock? If items are not in stock then the production time is always shown alongside the pull down option boxes. Production times can vary throughout the year from 16-20 weeks. It is always advisable to order special make items no later than 6 months before the date of your wedding to ensure that the items are with you when needed and you have left a little time to have any minor alterations if necessary. How do I place my order? At Giovanna Couture we offer an online service backed up with telephone support and high street bridal shops, so you can be re-assured ever step of the way that there is always a member of our team on hand to answer any questions and support you with such an important purchase. You can choose to: Visit one of our bridal shops for face to face assistance. We can offer a 50% deposit option through our bridal shops. Order online - We offer secure payment systems online, so you can purchase from stock or select an item to be made in your chosen colour. Call us to place an order over the telephone with one of our sales team and to benefit from our years of knowledge. Are you a U.K based company? Yes we are we have been in the bridal industry for many years. We appreciate that its often a new experience for brides, but we want to re-assure you that we offer a warm welcome at our bridal shops. We operate a no pressure environment, because we want you to be relaxed and enjoy your experience of trying on a selection of our beautiful gowns, we will offer guidance and support throughout the process. Can you copy a dress from a picture? No - This is one thing that we would never do. It is illegal to copy another manufacturers design, it breaks copyright laws and leaves the buyer liable for a £5000 fine. Always beware of fake and copy goods, we have seen a rise in this type of product in the market place in the last few years and we regularly get brides coming to our shops for their dress last minute, having been let down by items not arriving or they have arrived and proved to be a cheap copy and nothing like the original often the dresses are unwearable. If something seems too good to be true it usually is. So please beware of offers to make cheap copy goods. Whilst some of our clearance gowns are very competitively priced we will always make them available to view by weekday appointment only so you can be re-assured of the quality of the goods you will receive.
