Newark is in Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands. Our new premises are based just off the A1 & A46, please see details below: From the North Travel down the A1, take the junction signposted A46 to Newark. On exiting the A1, Head straight into the town centre towards the church. You will pass through 3 sets of traffic lights, at the 3rd set you will be sat alongside "The White swan" pub, turn left here past Morrisons. At the next round-about turn Right in between the Mount school and Morrisons. Turn left and park in the old mount school car park. (2 mins walk) On leaving the car park turn left and head into town on wilson street, you will see the church in the market place, before you get to the church, turn right onto Kirk Gate, take your next available left before the old post office pub and Giovanna Couture is directly in front of you. From the south Travelling up the A1 go past Grantham, Turn off to Balderton on the (B6326 London Road) Travel through 3 sets of lights (1st set is in Balderton next to the A1 chip shop, 2nd is in Newark next to the old hospital/Cartwheels, 3rd set you are faced with the old robin hood hotel) Follow the road past the bus station the road bends to the right, to the next roundabout with the ossington on it, go straight accross the roundabout and take your next right onto Kirk Gate. Follow the road straight and to your left and park in the Mount school car park. (2 mins walk) On leaving the car park turn left and head into town on wilson street, you will see the church in the market place, before you get to the church, turn right onto Kirk Gate, take your next available left before the old post office pub and Giovanna Couture is directly in front of you. From Nottingham & Leicester Get onto the A46 and continue through Farndon, At the next roundabout, turn right and head into Newark, you will pass over the river, then come to a set of traffic lights at the side of the old robin hood hotel, turn left past the bus station, to the next round-about with the ossington, proceed straight over and take your next right onto Kirk Gate, Follow the road straight and to your left and park in the Mount school car park. (2 mins walk) On leaving the car park turn left and head into town on wilson street, you will see the church in the market place, before you get to the church, turn right onto Kirk Gate, take your next available left before the old post office pub and Giovanna Couture is directly in front of you. Travelling by Train from London or the North Newark has 2 train stations Northgate (This is the main north south line) which links Newark to the London Kingscross to edinburgh mainline. Newark is approx a 1 hour train ride from London and a 1 min taxi ride from the station to our bridal shop. Castle gate train station services the east to west coast line so is ideal if you are commuting in from Nottingham city centre, we are within 10 mins walk of both stations, please head into the town centre and look for Kirk Gate as our bridal shop is sited just off Kirk Gate. |
